Construction can be a demanding industry. While physical safety remains a constant priority, mental health and wellbeing deserve the same level of attention. R U OK? Day gave our teams an opportunity to pause, check in with one another and reinforce the importance of open and genuine conversations.
Across our sites, teams took part in toolbox talks, shared meals and informal check-ins. These activities encouraged our people to recognise when someone may be struggling, listen without judgement, offer support and follow up after the conversation.
This approach reflects CRE’s broader commitment to social value. By supporting mental wellbeing, we help build stronger teams, safer workplaces and a more positive culture across the projects and communities in which we operate.
